FlowGuard™ pipe and fittings are made from a specialty plastic known chemically as chlorinated polyvinylchloride (CPVC). FlowGuard CPVC is the result of new technology that insures increased product toughness year round. FlowGuard CPVC systems are assembled with readily available, inexpensive tools. Solvent cemented joints – proven with more than 50 years of successful CPVC service history – assure the reliability of a FlowGuard CPVC plumbing system.
FlowGuard CPVC products are available from ½" to 6" and produced according to a wide range of international standards including ASTM F439 (schedule 80), ASTM F441 (schedule 40 and 80), ASTM D2846 (copper tube size) and EN ISO 15877.
Lubrizol produces and sells CPVC compounds to licensed manufacturers of FlowGuard pipe and fittings. Lubrizol’s quality assurance program and on-site technical assistance, ensures that FlowGuard products are of the highest international standards.
